FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- 01Step One: • Contact us through the website, Facebook or Instagram. • Explain to us what type of tattoo you are after, provide a reference image either from Google, Instagram or Pinterest. • Provide detail on which area of the body you would like your tattoo. • Specify whether you want the tattoo in black and grey, coloured or a mixture of both. We will then give you a quote and a timescale of how long the tattoo will take. If you are happy with the price and would like to proceed, we will then move onto step two. Step Two: • We will arrange a face-to-face consultation in the studio where you will be required to bring a cash deposit of £50. • The consultation is where we will go into more detail with you about your upcoming tattoo, brainstorm more about your ideas and then officially getting a date booked in. • Deposits are non-refundable but you can move the date of your tattoo if you give notice within 48 hours.
- 02Tattoo prices will vary depending on the size, complexity, and how many sessions you will need. We will give you a personalised quote during your consultation to make sure you are happy with the price before moving to the next stage.
- 03Yes, to secure an appointment you will need to pay a £50 deposit. The deposit amount will be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable but you can reschedule your appointment with at least 48 hours' notice.
- 04• Make sure you are well-rested and have eaten a good meal before your appointment. • Try not to have any alcohol or take blood-thinning medications before getting tattooed. • Wear comfortable clothing to make sure you are relaxed throughout your session - especially if you have a long session coming up. This also allows us to easily access to the area being tattooed.
- 05Tattoo healing times will depend on the size, location, and your body's individual healing process. It usually takes around 2-4 weeks for the tattoo to heal. We will provide detailed aftercare instructions to help you with the healing process once your appointment is finished.
- 06Having a medical condition may affect your ability to get a tattoo. We would highly recommend you to get in touch with your healthcare provider beforehand, especially if you have conditions like diabetes, compromised immune systems, or skin disorders.
- 07Please avoid going swimming or having a bath with a fresh tattoo as you don't want to submerge the tattoo in water whilst it's healing. You will need to wait around 3 weeks to go swimming or have a bath, once the tattoo has healed. Having a shower is completely fine.
- 08We do not advise getting a tattoo if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- 09Avoid having alcohol at least 24 hours before your tattoo.
- 10Avoid applying fake tan to a fresh tattoo. You should wait 3 weeks before doing so as you will run the risk of infection where the fake tan clogs the pores and slows down the healing process.
